Our Commitment
At Appify Labs, we believe that technology should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to ensuring that Tasklify is designed and developed following accessibility best practices to provide an inclusive experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
Our Mission
We strive to ensure that Tasklify is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users of all abilities. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our application as new technologies emerge and as we receive feedback from our users.
Conformance Status
Tasklify is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We are actively working to increase our level of conformance and address any accessibility gaps that may exist in our application.
Some of the specific guidelines we follow include:
- Providing text alternatives for non-text content
- Ensuring content can be presented in different ways without losing information
- Making all functionality available from a keyboard
- Providing users enough time to read and use content
- Not designing content in a way that is known to cause seizures or physical reactions
- Providing ways to help users navigate, find content, and determine where they are
- Making text content readable and understandable
- Making web pages appear and operate in predictable ways
- Helping users avoid and correct mistakes
Accessibility Features
Tasklify includes the following accessibility features:
Text Resizing and Customization
Tasklify respects your device's text size settings. You can adjust the font size in your iOS settings, and Tasklify will adapt accordingly. Additionally, we offer in-app text size customization for an optimal reading experience.
Dark Mode and Color Contrast
Tasklify offers a dark mode that automatically syncs with your device settings or can be manually enabled. All text and interactive elements maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, exceeding WCAG AA standards.
Text-to-Speech Integration
Tasklify works seamlessly with iOS VoiceOver screen reader technology. Additionally, we provide a built-in text-to-speech feature that can read your tasks, notes, and important notifications aloud.
Touch Accommodations
Tasklify features large, clearly defined touch targets (minimum size of 44x44 points) for buttons and interactive elements. We've implemented touch accommodations to help users with motor control challenges, including touch delays and hold duration settings.
Keyboard Navigation Support
When using Tasklify with an external keyboard, all app functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation, with logical focus order and visible focus indicators.
Language Support
Tasklify is available in multiple languages, including Arabic and English, with proper RTL (right-to-left) language support for Arabic users.
Known Limitations
While we strive to make Tasklify fully accessible, we acknowledge that there are some limitations in the current version:
- Some complex data visualizations in the Analytics section may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are working on alternative text-based representations of this data.
- Some advanced gesture interactions may require alternative access methods for users with motor impairments. We are developing additional input mechanisms for these features.
- During rapid development phases, new features may temporarily fall short of our accessibility standards before being fully optimized.
We are actively working to address these limitations in future updates.

Tasklify undergoes regular accessibility testing as part of our development process:

- User testing with individuals who have various disabilities
- Conformance testing against WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines
